Bandag® Retreads

Agland’s Bandag® Retread Facility caps a wide variety of retreads from light truck tires to 18 wheelers. Agland's Bandag® Division will pick up old casings that need retreading from Cheyenne, WY to Durango, CO. These are delivered back to the customer after they have been retreaded.

Bandag® retreads are produced in a sophisticated shop, where old tread is removed, buffed, and made ready for the new tread.

Once the new tread is applied it then moves into a chamber to be cooked, where the tread is cured onto the tire. Once the tire is removed it will cool and be ready for inspection and cleaning before being delivered to a customer. To see this process step-by-step, you can take a tour of the retread facility.
