Silage Value Calculator

To estimate the value of feedable corn silage based on the market price of whole corn, the NEl content of the silage, and the dry matter content of the silage, fill in the following values:

Footnotes:
CBOT = Chicago Board of Trade
DEC = December Price
Silage NEL determined from ensiled samples
Silage price is feedable silage with $4.00/ton freight included (not green-chop values)
Price may be overestimated when actual silage dry matter is outside range from 30 to 35%
